Industry Outreach Has Changed
From curated mailing labels to today's digital industry.
For decades, UTD provided the industry with frequently updated, carefully curated mailing labels to help performers reach agents, managers, casting professionals, and other industry contacts.
The COVID pandemic changed the way the entertainment industry works and communicates. Many industry professionals gave up traditional offices, moved to remote or hybrid work, and continued using digital communication as their primary point of contact.
Those changes have lasted. Because of that shift, UTD no longer recommends sending hard-copy mail unless a recipient explicitly states that physical submissions are accepted or preferred.
Our five printed industry directories remain available, while current contact research, targeting, tracking, and other digital career tools can also be found through Up-To-Date Actor.
